Just finished this one yesterday and the Client was really happy. I wanted to share some of the objectives and the final result:
Client request: "artsy" logo that reflected they don't just do landscaping. They take it to an artistic level
and want that reflected in the logo. They also do a variety of landscaping projects so we don't want to be tied into any one service.
My thoughts: Any time a client uses the term "artsy" i get nervous. I wanted to stay away from the color green or obvious plant imagery as much as possible. I did explore a kind of abstract sprout in the initial designs, which you can see in grey scale at the top. I'm really happy at how organic the final version came out and I know it will be versatile enough to cover them if they decide to branch out even further.
